The latest generation of the sleek smart-phone went on sale this morning, Friday June 19th, 2009. Some stores in Mobile opened at 7 in the morning to sell to folks that had pre-ordered the gizmo. Iphone fans say they wanted to buy the latest model for its bigger hard drive and high resolution camera. Most buyers say they regret nothing. “I'm just happy to have one in my hot little hand here and hope I won't break it,” says early adopter John Pemberton. He says he travelled from Moss Point to get one. Pemberton says he plans on turning sermons at his church into video podcasts. Store managers say older models of the Iphone will drop in price. They say they've seen a strong turnout for the latest version.
