Members of a Mobile church congregation are busy thanking their longtime leader today, Sunday, July 26, 2009. Members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church organized a motorcade this afternoon. They were celebrating 45 years of service by Dr. Walter Vasser Senior. Church members say Vasser has worked for years building the congregation and the church. They say they're very thankful for his service.

“We the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church family want to let our pastor know that we thank him, we love him thank him and appreciate him for being there for us for 45 years,” says church member Francine Burks. The motorcade down Broad street tops off celebrations in honor of Dr. Vasser. Church members say it was very important to say thanks.
