MOBILE, Alabama - How long can you hold a note? If you're a member of the Mobile Opera, it's a pretty long time. Singers from the upcoming show "Love and Lust" performed at the Ben May Main Library downtown today, 10/18/2009. Instead of singing traditional operas, some of the artists belted out more familiar show tunes. Performer Mark Womack says opera is an art form like no other.

“It's a great way to also understand other cultures of the world,” says the Manhattan singer. “Love and Lust” has two performances next week. For more information you can go here.
