DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - A missing Alabama police supervisor who
vanished from his office last week has been arrested in Las Vegas
and is accused of staging his disappearance to cover up a theft.
Police said Sgt. Faron White allegedly pulled off the hoax after
stealing $2,500 from the Decatur Police Department. The 48-year-old
head of the city's organized crime unit was arrested in a Las Vegas
hotel late Monday on a theft charge.
Authorities said a 29-year-old woman, Sarah Richardson, was
arrested at her home in Decatur and charged with helping White flee
the state.
The officer's family reported him missing early Saturday after
he failed to return home from work. Police found signs of a
struggle in White's office and began a search.

Gotch covered! when you win $105 million whats a million or two between friends.

My ex once told me I was one in a million and then grumbled something about thanking God, but 1 in 195 million!

Hey Carl, if you should win this thing…... I’ll be your bestest friend…...  LOL

He probably would have had about as much of a chance to win buying a power ball ticket.I can’t talk about the power ball,I got one.The odds of 195 million to one is about the same as getting something from the Casinos.grin

This guy must of had some high hopes to grab 2,500 bucks, fake his disappearance and head to Vegas.  He would have been better off to snitch 3 bucks and buy a powerball ticket!

Now his wife and three kids have to take the heat for him! bless their hearts.

What a stupid man! Over $2500. An idiot!

Haha, I’ve heard “it takes one to know one.” If only his crime had been more organized…

How does he manage to put crooks in jail when he sucks at being one?

Idiot…Doing it is one thing…thinking you can get away with it is on a different level of idiocy..Oh well..just another crook that needs to be dealt with…

Yet another example that shows wearing a badge does not make you a good person.

and to think he was the head of a organized crime unit, he must have had a gambling problem. 2500 dollars. what was he thinking?
