MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A resolution has been introduced in the
Alabama House that praises Miss USA contestant Carrie Prejean for
speaking out against gay marriage during Sunday night's televised
pageant.
Prejean was competing as Miss California and finished second
after answering a question from judge Perez Hilton concerning her
views on gay marriage. The pageant was won by Miss North Carolina
Kristen Dalton.
The resolution was introduced Tuesday by Republican Rep. Jay
Love of Montgomery.
Love said Prejean showed she was willing to stick to her
convictions even if it meant losing the pageant.
The resolution was referred to the House Rules Committee for
consideration.

Miss California says she stands by her
anti-gay-marriage comments, even if they may have cost her the Miss
USA crown.
Carrie Prejean defended her views Tuesday on NBC's "Today"
show, telling host Matt Lauer that she spoke from the heart during
Sunday's pageant when she said that "marriage should be between a
man and a woman."
The beauty queen's response to a question from openly gay
pageant judge and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has received more
attention than the winner, Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton.
Hilton, who also appeared on the "Today" show, said his
question was relevant and that Prejean should have "left her
politics and her religion out because Miss USA represents all
Americans."

Sigh. You guys need to learn to read sarcasm.

now KxV, don’t use ofensive terms like breeder, nobody is using them about the gays

KxVicious,Thank You for praying for me. No one can get enough of prayer. I am going to pray for you too. God Bless You. Still love you like a Brother or Sister in Christ. Hope you have a Bless Day.

Kx. The pregnant woman you speak of, did you see her in the act of becoming pregnant? If not then you aren’t really sure of how she got that way!

Do some of you people also regret, or resent the fact that your parents had at least one heterosexual moment?

I never go around asking people if they’re straight, but every time I see some pregnant woman I’m like “oh there’s another breeder, forcing me to look at her heterosexuality.”

DADT is over…

like i said before. they better leave it at don’t ask don’t tell.

THank you!!!!!

I see President Obama and the Democratic Congress aren’t the only one’s that know how to waste tax dollars.  Conservatives do a good job of wasting time and money.  This silly little resolution cost the Alabama taxpayers lots of money.  Where is the outrage?  Oh.  I see.  If Republicans waste money, that is fine.  Gay marriage is coming and Alabama will have it very soon.  Most people in Alabama can’t even read, so they have no idea what the Bible says.  Unless they have a pop-up picture book Bible.  Gay marriage is coming and the bigots and rednecks must face that.  Even in Alabama.
