FAIRHOPE, Alabama - A Mini British invasion rolls into Fairhope. Members of the South Alabama British Car Club were letting the union jack fly at Beach Park today, 10/24/2009. It was their 19th annual British Car Festival. More than 80 classic cars were on display. Organizers put a special emphasis on the British Mini. The classic tiny vehicles turn 50 this year. Club president Noel Eaglson says the cars have a special place in car culture.
