gpguy94114, this is still the greatest country on earth. let me ask you should president bush have sat around and waited for another 9/11 have you ever talked to someone from iraq who was afraid to come out of their home. even here until sadam was gone. sarah palin was talking about freedom. terrorist kill for the love of power., if you do not know the difference then switch parties. study jimmy carter, he was elected for change. just remember what i say.

Wait4Me, etc,  I still can’t believe what I read here.  McCain wants to tax emplyer paid health care as income.  I have been watching my savings disappear faster over the last 5 years due to increased taxes that have hit income earners that fall between 50,000.00 and 150,000.00 harder than any other income bracket.  as far as GOP meaning any thing else, well, I try having a sense of humor regarding everything.  I do not belittle anyone individual, nor make a mockery of our system.  This was the greatest country on earth not to long ago, it could be again.  Please do not try covering up for our current Pres. by saying “they attacked us” as they did not.  S. Palin’s comment that “we are doing God’s work in this war with Iraq”. Sounds sort of like a terrorist saying “it is the will of Allah”.
btw,, I am a registered Rep. thinking about not voting for my party.
Still moving to Ireland, they have a health plan that everyone can afford, and a flat 20% tax.
Me, out.

gpguy-btw it’s still the GOP. In case you didn’t know RNC stands for Republican National Convention. Remember the Democrats have the DNC-Dumb Nuts Convention. You can put lipstick on a donkey, but it’s still an arse!

i want someone to ask the kurds, if there were no wmds. where did they go? also one brillant plan in iraq to bring freedom. the terrorist hate that they have nightmares about freedom.

As for the war being a front for revenge,
What do these names have in common,,, Biden, H.Clinton, Dodd, Edwards, and Kerry?  All demecrats and ALL voted FOR war with Iraq based on the intelligence provided to them and Bush at the time, yes they all saw the same info Bush did and they agreed with him that we needed to do this for the Country and the world. No conspiracy, no revenge, no WTC Building 7 wasn;t a governemnt conspiracy either, just info that all of them were provided and all of them agreed on.

taxex! remember bill clinton no tax increase (they never let president bush forget. read my lips motto for the dnc remember) well guess who gave us the biggest tax increase in history. can you say clinton, with a democrat controlled congress.

everytime i think of jimmy carter the first thing that comes to mind is people wanted change. well we got it all right. from iran hostage to the panama canal we use to own,22 percent interest rates and of course our gas tax.  yeah we got change.

Palin has already shown in her state, that she can manage big corporations. From the oil profits, the money is directly distributed back to the people of the state-not the corporations.

People are blaming Republicans for everything that has gone wrong. You need to look at what has gone right. Slavery was ended by Republicans-opposition from Dems. Taxes were lowered by Rep. and increased by Dems. Rep. fought back when attacked, instead of ignoring the threats as Dems. have. We have not had another attack on American soil since we showed the terrorists that YES, we do have a backbone.

McCain/Palin are the only two that have reached across party lines, and have ruffled feathers on both sides of the aisle for the good of the people. Obama votes present, and is largely dictated by what his cronies tell him to do. He will be more p-whipped, if in office, than Clinton, if elected. McCain wrote a proposal in 05 or 06 to address the housing mess-it was opposed by Dems. He saw it coming.

Scenario #5-Healthcare. Becomes government mandated. Heck, people who are ELIGIBLE for Medicaid don’t even apply half the time-too lazy. The government decides the healthcare. We are already understaffed in healthcare. Do you want to wait a year to see if that breast lump is cancer, or see a doc in the box, who may not be properly trained? See how Canada and other folks with socialized medicine like it. That’s Obama’s plan.

McCain/Palin have a fair tax plan. Meaning it doesn’t matter if you make $20,000/yr or $200,000/yr-you are taxed at the same rate. I see no reason why someone who is successful and earns a good living should be penalized for that success. It is not my “patriotic duty”-as per Biden’s words to support the poor. If you need money, ask, but don’t TAKE.

McCain’s plan would keep and BRING business to AMERICA. Remember, that is what will happen if NG/EADS retains the contract. We will have more American jobs, and business will be partially imported to America, not out.

even about our government is proof of what a great nation we are.

Consider these scenarios-Obama is elected. The tanker contract is “re-bid,” Boeing wins(buys) the contract. Corporate taxes go up. Who loses? Not Boeing. That labor will be shipped to China and Mexico. Scenario #2-Obama wins-raises taxes on anyone making over $250,000 (his words). He acts like Robinhood to take from the rich, to give to the poor. What incentive is there for the poor to work? None, because they are realizing bigger benefits, under Obamas plan to stay at home and remain lazy trash. In fact, more people will become lifetime welfarers.  Scenario#3-Obama wins-kiss your right to hunt good-bye, or to own a gun. He wants guns banned. He did it in Chicago, but funny thing, the crime rate is still rampant. Wonder why? Because the criminal thugs don’t BUY guns. Scenario#4- A 8 month pregnant woman, decides she no longer wants a baby. OK, pierce it’s skull and rip it apart, because that is OK with the new govt.
