Mercy ! Where did all that anger come from southfan1981. Don’t be so bashful,let everyone know how you feel. I used to know an old fellow,let’s just say older than myself, and he was angry about something doing with some people getting special treatment from the government and he vowed to join the Klan. As a bit of humor I bought him a white sheet with flowers all over it and cut the eyes and mouth and gave it to him. I told him if he was going to stand around with a group with sheets over their heads I wanted to know which one he was. The humor defused a lot of the anger, now let’s see what Southfan1981 is so angry about.

I agree w/what everyone is saying in this post, and I am black. There is a difference between a Confederate flag aka Confederate States flag and a rebel flag. Look up the history. Second, anybody using the N-word around me gets the look of ignorance from me white, black or polka dot. Thirdly, who can say that they are black or white in America. We are all mixed with something, believe it or not. Just think Caucasions with brown eyes, hmmm. Do a DNA gene test, you’ll be surprised. There are some people that look white, but are black. Be careful what you say around people. You never know who that person is truly.

Why doesnt anyone ever talk about black liberation theology & how that is racist?? & how come we have to say the n word but its ok to say

BUT black people were not the only slaves their were white people who were slaves. & the only people who had slaves were rich people. & why are black people singled out to be the race that people are prejudice against? what about native americans or the irish?? black people were sold to slave traders by other BLACK people who lived in africa!!!! the man who wrote amazing grace was white & a slave in africa for 7 years b4 he was set free & bcame a slave trader. yes white people are racist but so are black people & every other race!!!

Consider all Americans as Americans,not as African Americans or Spanish or Mexican Americans or what ever. Pick your friends by how they act and what they do that pleases or displeases you. It doesn’t matter if they are white or black or yellow or any other color and don’t try to make them your friends because of their color either. We all discriminate in one form or another,some just carry it to extremes from all the races. If you don’t like what someone is saying, walk away and leave them to their own ends. Unless they are threatening some illegal act against you or someone else,ignore them. Every one has the right to state how they feel even if most people don’t like it. The foolish are like the poor , they will always be with us.
