Man Who Held Wife Hostage Out On Bond

Alabama Mobile  Mobile police say John Rollins hit his wife in the face with a shotgun and held her hostage at First American Storage last week. He was released Tuesday night after posting $153500 bond.

The man who Mobile police say held his wife hostage at a storage facility is out on bond. John Rollins was released from Mobile Metro Jail after posting $153,500 bond.

According to police, Rollins walked into the First American Storage on Magnolia Road May 13, armed with a shotgun, and started arguing with his wife. Rollins fired two shots, hit his wife in the face with the shotgun and then locked her and himself in a bathroom.

Rollins surrendered peacefully about an hour later.

That does sound pretty light for such a crime.  The judge put this woman in serious danger.

seems like he would be deemed a dnager and should be on a no bond till trial. hope his wife has a good place to hide. and its a darned shame he has too. So stupid bringin a gun and even dumber for firing it, he nneds to be in the cages. jmo
