Man Struck By Vehicle

Broad Street Crown Victoria  A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle as he was crossing a street.

Around 5:45 Thursday evening 47-year-old Horrace Salter was crossing Broad St. at Gorgas St. when he was struck by a 1997 green Crown Victoria according to Mobile Police. The vehicle was being driven by 18-year-old Ladarrion Blackman. Mobile Police believe Salter stepped into traffic and in front of Blackman’s vehicle. Blackman has not been charged with a crime but was given a citation for no insurance.
Salter is at USA Medical Center.
