John is no longer on Metro’s docket wondering if he got out or just moved to a different correctional facility?

What is the latest on this?  Is he still sitting in jail?  Is the other guy on the mend?

I would like to know about the child. I know that the night this happened the only one who attempted to comfort the child was his grandmother and the mother screamed at her to get away from him. It seemed the law enforcement wasn’t too concerned with the little boy’s well being as they made the grandmother move away from him and threatened to arrest HER….for comforting the child when his own mother wouldn’t.  I know if this had been my baby they would have had to pry him from my arms. Apparently she was more concerned with being the center of attention.

I feel for John and his family . John is facing such serious charges . I’m sure there is much more to this story that we have not heard about yet . With so much drama taken place in such a short time makes you really question everything . So please keep the Powell family ,as well as the Smith family in your prayers . FOR I believe the stories don’t end here .

So many has learned of the husband that was “killed or died"on Dec 13,08.His name was Jeremiah Smith .He was a deeply loved son,brother and friend.His relationship with his family was definitely something to envy. He always gave such an awesome respect to his mother . He cherished this bond, he was certain they were best friends.If one or both of his brothers or sisters would ever call in need of anything , he would be there in record time with out a question.
Jeremiah was also a very independent person .By the age of 23 he had his own place ,worked full time and had always taken responsibility for his bills.With in just a few years owned his home.
“FYI,Jeremiah owned his home not Heather!He bought his home before Heather was even in the pitcher.”
So for Heather to Blatantly disrespect not only Jeremiah but his entire family ,must be one of the hardest things they must have to go through.

I have known john since 8th grade. we played bass drums together at bryant. Not in a million years would he have done something like this unless he was protecting his child…or mother…(not even to protect himself)  You think to yourself, if someone totally unrelated told you that you couldn’t take your child from a bad situation you would go a little crazy too!!!  Keep your head up john. I’m praying for you.
