Mobile police want you to keep an eye out for the getaway car used by a man accused of stealing a 75-year-old woman's purse.

Shortly before Noon, a man grabbed the victim's purse outside the Post Office on Airport Blvd at Plaza De Malaga (6161 Airport Blvd). He knocked her down in the process. Thankfully, she only suffered minor scrapes.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male, 5'10", with a husky build and short braided hair. He was driving a dark colored SUV. The back window was broken out and covered with a clear plastic with gray tape around the sides.

If you see the SUV, call 251.208.7211. Police say it would be helpful if you can write down the tag number, but ask you not to put yourself in any danger to get it.
