Man Shot in Grand Bay

Alabama Grand Bay  Victim was wanted by the Mobile County Sheriff's Office for stealing everything from electronics and home appliances to a boat propeller and a Chevy Blazer.

Mobile County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Wednesday night shooting in Grand Bay.
Deputies say Sheldon Ellis was shot around 8 o'clock at a home in the 8000 block of Private Road 150. Ellis was transported to USA Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
News 5 has learned Ellis is the same man who was wanted on numerous theft charges. Deputies say Ellis stole everything from electronics and home appliances to a boat propeller and a Chevy Blazer.
A suspect is being questioned in the shooting. It's unknown what type of gun was used or where Ellis was hit.

Well that is what he gets for stealing from people!! I used to know him and he stole a car from my husband’s great aunt who couldn’t remember a lot of things. And to this day we still can’t find the car and that was back in 2005 so yeah he deserves everything he gets!!! I hope they put him in jail and leaves him there for a while!!! That would be just what he deserves!!! He would steal money from me and think that I didn’t know it but yeah i did!!! The guy that shoot him probably came to get some of his stuff that Sheldon stole from him!!

Just goes to show you .........don’t steal ......
