Man Shot Drives For Help

Shooting Whistler  Prichard Police are investigating a shooting after the man shot drove him self to a gas station.

A man with a bullet wound in his side drove him self to a gas station convenience store for help. Around 8:45 p.m. Prichard Police were called to the Food Mart at Wolf Ridge Road and St. Steven's Road in the Whistler area for a report of someone shot. Officers on scene, during an investigation of the man's vehicle, said they did not know where he was when he was shot. Prichard Police have not released the man's identity at this time. He was taken by ambulance to USA Medical Center to his gunshot wound to be treated.
