Man Sentenced To 15 Years For Dogfighting

Alabama Animal Cruelty Dale Carnley was arrested when he tried to sell his wounded dog Batman to undercover police officers.

A Flomaton man who pleaded guilty to dogfighting and animal cruelty charges is headed back to prison.

Dale Carnley was sentenced Thursday to 15 years. Carnley fought his dog, Batman, against another dog in Santa Rosa County, Florida in March of last year. The next day, he showed off the dog's wounds while trying to sell it to undercover police officers.

A total of six dogs were seized from Carnley's property along with dogfighting paraphernalia.

Carnley's wife, Elizabeth, has also been indicted on dogfighting and animal cruelty charges. She is awaiting trial.

This makes everyone happy..especially the people that deserve to be happy..everyone says,“Ohh well he wasnt fighting dogs.” but the vet said it itself that the bite marks on Batmans neck were from fighting another dog..this is really sad that some innocent dog had to suffer from someones stupidity…im glad he got what he got..he deserves to spend 15 years in prison if not more..this is what you call a lame excuse for a man period… couldnt he find another job that didnt invole animals being hurt..he better be gald it was in alabama and not some other country..other countrys punish you the same way you punished the animal..everyone wants to wine and cry about some stupid justice system and all…lifes not fair get over it..hes going to get what he deserves..and for his girlfriend or wife or whoever she is she needs to go down right with him…(:

Okay, but leave your two small children alone in a hotel room and they burn to death and you get a slap on the wrist. Animal fighting is cruel and I’m against it, but our justice system is really messed up!

I believe fighting animals against each other for a profit is wrong whether it be dogs or roosters. In fact, I’ve never liked boxing or cage fighting humans much either for that matter.
So why are dogs more important than roosters and humans that they are protected and not allowed to fight in a ring?
