Man Killed In Crash On University Boulevard

Alabama Mobile  Mobile police say Joshua Rawles lost control of his Chevy Blazer and hit several trees in the area of University and Lebaron Drive South.

Mobile police are investigating the death of a man killed in a single vehicle accident on University Boulevard.

Police say 29-year-old Joshua Rawles lost control of his Chevy Blazer around 1:20 Friday morning and hit several trees before the SUV came to a stop on the side of the road near Lebaron Drive South.

Rawles was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine if the cause of death was the result of something other than the impact of the

I wonder if he was speeding. I used to deliever pizza in that area, and cars fly through there in excess of 70 mph.
