A homicide investigation is underway in Monroe County after authorities say a man is found beaten to death. According to Monroeville Police neighbors at this house on Dennis street found the man's body lying inside their house early Wednesday morning.Authorities also found empty liquor bottles at the scene and believe alcohol may have been involved.
While investigators are still trying to determine exactly what happened, some neighbors tell us they've been trying to figure it out themselves. "I've heard everything in the book about what happened and all but it always turns out as something else,"Said Verlenious Powell.
"It had something to do with them partying all night and they had an argument here and fight broke out so we're not sure what all happened yet,"Said Honey Moss.
Authorities are not releasing any names at this time, but tells News Five they have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in this case. The investigation is ongoing.
