CHICKASAW, Alabama - A man is dead after police say he was driving the wrong way on I-65 just before 5 am, 10/4/09. My video in this web story shows the scene later in the morning in Chickasaw near exit ten. Chickasaw Police say a man driving a small car was going the wrong way on I-65 Southbound when his car collided with a tractor trailer. The driver of the small car was killed in the crash; the driver of the big truck was treated at the scene. The accident shut down I-65 Southbound for several hours Sunday morning. The truck was carrying dried dog food but a hazardous materials team had to be called to clean up leaking fuel. The driver that was killed has not been identified.
