BAY MINETTE, Ala. (AP) - A Loxley street preacher and his wife
have filed a $5 million lawsuit against a south Alabama school
district after the school board turned down their proposal to set
up a Christian after-school program.
It's the third lawsuit Orlando and Glynis Bethel have filed
against the Baldwin County school board over the same issue. The
board filed a lawsuit Oct. 10 asking a judge to block the Bethels
from filing any more lawsuits against the district.
The couple responded with their latest lawsuit, which claims the
board is discriminating against them because of religious bias.
The lawsuits are just part of more than a dozen federal lawsuits
the couple has filed against government entities in Alabama since
2005.

The Bethels are psycho nutcases looking for an easy dollar. They need mental help, not money. The suit should be thrown out at summary judgement.

If you’re not familiar with the Bethels, you should check out you-tube and see what thier activities include.  I’ve “Satan Claus” around and they’re always insulting random people with slurs and ranting about homosexuals and whoremongers.  I certainly don’t want thier fanatical ideas imposed on my kids and thy don’t belong around schools, “religous” agenda or not.  Its obvious they are only interested in living off lawsuits.

I believe litigation has become a knee jerk reaction for Americans for way too many reasons. But it’s so refreshing to see an article about someone suing a school system in favor of religion. What’s so bad about a little faith in the schools? We’re going to need all we can get in the coming political climate, I’m afraid.
