Local Memorial Day Ceremonies

Florida Alabama  Several Memorial Day ceremonies are being held in our area to honor fallen heroes.

There are several Memorial Day ceremonies being held in Mobile and Baldwin counties. The Vietnam Veterans of America will hold a sunrise service at Battleship Park at 6 a.m. The William F. Green Veterans home in Bay Minette will also have a ceremony at 10 a.m.

Here are a few other ceremonies happening in our area:

9:00 a.m. National Cemetery (Mobile)

11:00 a.m. Submarine Veterans Memorial Ceremony will take place at the Submarine Memorial at Battleship Park.

11:00 a.m. The American Legion will host a memorial service at Griffin Park in Foley. The Foley High School ROTC will participate in the raising of the flag.

9:00 a.m. Memorial Day service at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. 21-gun salute starts at 12 p.m.

9:00 a.m. Flag ceremony at Santa Rosa County Veterans' Memorial Plaza.
