Mobile Star Trek Star Trek Fans held a little get-together Saturday.

MOBILE, Alabama - You can call them Trekkers or Trekies—a handful did show up at a little Star Trek party at Satori Coffee House in Mobile. Organizer Stacy Barrington called it “Khan Con 2009” in honor of the iconic Star Trek villain. She says she made the doll you see in several of the photos in the image of Ricardo Montalban’s character from the second Star Trek motion picture. You cannot call them Trekkers or Trekkies. A Trekkie is someone who loves the science fiction of Star Trek and understands it is just that and a Trekker, is someone who actually believes the science fiction is reality.
