Several fire crews showed up at a house on Rolling Oaks Drive in Fairhope Thursday night just before 8:00 o'clock. Flames were shooting from a two story home. News 5 spoke with the homeowner Bob Maddox. He says he was not living in the house because it was being remodeled. Neighbors told him that they heard lightning strike in the area. Firefighters from Fairhope, Daphne, and Spanish Fort worked to put out the flames. They were still working at 10:00 p.m. Bob Maddox says he bought the house back in 1992. He has been living in another home since the remodeling started. No one was hurt in the fire..
