MOBILE, Alabama - Eight accusers down, six more to go in the Herman Thomas sex trial.

In court on Friday, the eighth accuser says he volunteered for the paddlings to avoid going to prison.

He testified that the former judge did more help than harm to him-- and his first encounter with Thomas was at the judge's home.

The accuser also said that Thomas was "like a monster" and "aint nobody gonna do the wrong thing in his eyesight." A few minutes later, the same alleged victim said he had no beef with Thomas.

Former court police officer John King also testified that he escorted at least ten men inside Government Plaza to meet with Thomas. When they arrived in the early hours of the morning, Thomas would reportedly meet them and tell King that everything was fine. King says he never saw the men leave.

Mobile County Drug court Judge Edward Blount Junior told the court that some of his cases involving young males were taken over by Thomas. even though he had no business doing it. Blount even testified that Thomas told him it would be bad for his campaign to keep certain suspects on his docket.

Defense Lawyer Jeff Deen wouldn't talk specifics about the case but said this to our cameras. "Well, what I have to say about today is that its been very laborious. I think I would rather take a paddling than sit through anymore of this trial."

Thomas is accused of dozens of crimes ranging from sex abuse to kidnapping and extortion. He resigned from the bench in 2007. His trial continues on Monday.

But to be subjected to the abuse no matter the crime,it is totally against the law. I know he is an official, even more so he should be held accountable, but he is not above the law. No more than you or I. I hope they fry he a@@

You didn’t tell us someone on the witness stand was doing an impersonation of Vivian Figures!  What was that about?

Crime and punishment is are touchy items. My ancestors are predominantly Oglala and Highland Scott. They had some very effective ways of dealing with those who jeporadize the health and welfare of the tribe ,or clan. These measures were taken so embed a message to those who might consider putting their own interests ahead of the benefit of the clan/tribe’s health/security. I was told that one technique was to perforate a bowel, usually the small intestine would be drawn out and streched to several yards away from the accused. It would be tied off at the wound site so as to prevent excessive bleeding and premature demise. The accused would be tied to a large object, or staked to the ground. The intestine would be staked as well , some yards away as I mentioned, so that the accused could see what the wolves and coyotes were eating for dinner/brunch ect. Then there’s always impalement, stoning, being tied over an Argentine fireant nest, the slow roast, flaying of skin ect…  This morbid piece of history is brought to you today by your ancestors and by the letter “Q” and the number “3”. ” Come and play where everything’s A Okay , friendly neighbors there , that’s where we’ll meet, can you tell me how to get, how to get to seasame street?

LOL apropos

I wish I knew someone who could do a parody song. Just a quick search on youtube, and I can hear Thomas saying “Bring Em Out,” Pulls out his paddle and “Big Things Poppin,” and he says “Smack That.” Now “It’s Going Down.”
