Landlord Finds Tenant Dead

Baldwin County Sheriffs Office Autopsy People living in one Baldwin County neighborhood are concerned for their safety after a man is found dead in his home.

The Baldwin County Sheriff's office is looking for leads in the murder of a Bon Secour man. Deputies say 52 year old Edward Wayne McCrory was found dead inside his trailer home on County Road 49 yesterday afternoon.
A neighbor tells News Five one of McCrory's landlords discovered his body.
While authorities search for his killer,neighbors are keeping a watchful eye."I just would like to know if this was a random just act of violence or something personal between him and somebody, he seemed to be a very nice man,"Said Tiffany Conway. "We all have kids and they roam these woods just like I used to when I was a kid, so it kinda gets your mind thinking..gives you some concerns,"Said Jay Ryan.
The sheriff's office says an autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death. If you have any information that may help investigators call CrimeStoppers at 208-7000.

They are eager to catch WHOEVER is responsible, not WHOMEVER. “Whoever is responsible” is a noun clause of which “whoever” is the subject. The entire clause is the direct object of the sentence.
