
"Networking, business cards, getting the chance to actually meet face to face with folks that I may be sending resumes to," says Gilmartin. "
The Silverhill man handed out a dozen resumes, shook countless hands and traded business cards. It wasn't long before Gilmartin made a good impression.
"First thing I noticed was the way he dressed, very professional," says David Upchurch, a representative with Modern Woodmen Financial Services. "I thought he did a really nice job at that, he made a really good first impression. I'd definitely give him an interview to see where it led from there."
Gilmartin says he's excited about the possibility of landing a full-time job with benefits in the near future. We'll keep you posted on his progress.
