Dozens of potential jurors are let go as jury selection continues in the Bridge Tragedy trial.

Lam Luong is accused of throwing his four kids off the Dauphin Island Bridge last year. The state is going after the death penalty in this capital murder case.

On Thursday, possible jurors were questioned 1-by-1.

Some of the jurors in the pool admitted that they believe Luong should be killed even before hearing testimony. Others say the death penalty is against what they believe. Chris McLean is one of the jurors dismissed for opposing the death penalty. "I cannot vote to impose the death penalty. I don't believe in it. You know, put him in jail and make him think about it. Give him a chance to get right with God. It's not my right to give somebody death."

The state is really hoping that they can get a jury seated by the end of the week so testimony can start on Monday.

Bob, what do you think? What would He do? What are we told is the answer? Perhaps, compassion is the biggest test of our faith?

.... he doenst deserve any sympathy period… those children had no chance against him and how could you allow yourself to live knowing you have done that to small innocent kids knowing the looks on their faces as he did that… and one right after another…. god<WHY? and i see this ” I wanted to see the look on my wifes face “. what was this, mean what could possibly make you wanna see that after something so horrible. why would the mother leave her children with someone like this???

Let me ask you this,

What Would Jesus Do?

Just wondering….... smile

I am glad I wasn’t called for this. I can not vote to put someone to death. Ultimately, I can’t make that decision. Perhaps that is weak of me. I believe one Divine Being makes that ultimate decision. It is up to Him.

a comfy death of being put to sleep and then your little heart stopping is too easy a way to go for him. he should feel all the pain that those precious harmless innocent babies felt, compounded.

I feel the same way! He should be put to death for the horrific crime. I mean if they by chance had someone else to claim for this crime yeah I could see prolonging, but they don’t! They know for a fact he did it so why give him the chance to get right with God. He’s surely didn’t care about it when he committed the crime….But, thats only my opinion! I have no sympothy for someone who harms gods children in any way…Sad thing is that nothing will be sufficent enough for what he did….
