LOXLEY, Alabama - Whether, you're in Loxley, Robertsdale, Summerdale or Foley...if you break a traffic law this Labor Day weekend, chances are you'll get caught. Police departments across Baldwin County are saturating area highways in an effort to keep the roads safe. Reckless drivers, speeders and drivers under the influence of alcohol will be targeted.

"We're enforcing every law we can this weekend just to have a show of force and make sure people are obeying the laws out here," says Officer Ray Farmer with the Summerdale Police Department. "We want everybody to be safe and have a good Labor Day."

"We look for seat-belts or any other violation that could cause a danger to somebody else, inattentive driving, we want to keep people safe on the roadways," says Cpl. Neal Dickinson with the Robertsdale Police Dept.

Cops don't want to spoil anyone's holiday fun, but they want families visiting Baldwin County's beaches to go home alive.
