MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A judge has ruled that a Chickasaw man who
was convicted of torturing a kitten will not have to spend 18
months in prison after all.
Mobile County Circuit Judge James Wood changed the sentence for
24-year-old Ralph Allen Fisk, who will now be required to spend the
18 months reporting to Mobile's Community Corrections Center.
The corrections center typically requires its participants to
report daily and undergo a series of intense rehabilitation
programs.
Testimony during Fisk's one-day trial before Wood earlier this
year showed Fisk got angry at his common-law wife's 4-month old
kitten after it scratched him.
Fisk cut all four of the kitten's pads off to the bone, then
burned its belly and genitalia. It was found alive in a closet but
died shortly afterward.

It has been proven that animal cruelty does not stop at animal cruelty. If you so deranged that you get pleasure from cutting off a kittens paws then you can and most likely will hurt a human being. I’m not a member of PETA nor am I a proud supporter or anything, but I do believe that animals are living breathing creatures too. They can feel pain; can you imagine getting your hands cut off. I seriously think they should rethink their decision before they let this man out on the streets again. He most definitely has something mentally going wrong with him…

BIG RED FLAG: I wonder is there is a national registry for sociopathic precurser conditions—I’m not for PETA particularly but life is to be harvested for human use with some dignity. As the Native American’s did. If some or someone comes to or has grown into or been taught to get a “tweak” from disproportionate use of power It is “torture”—not good.

The judicial system will def. be seeing more of this guy…...this is most likely not the first time he’s done something like this and def. won’t be the last. He’s sick…...The fact that he found pleasure in watching a living thing suffer should scare everyone in the community. Say hello to your next serial killer.

Part 3:

Ralph A. Fisk cut, mutilated, and burned a small kitten. Does that not “cause said animal intensive or prolonged pain” or “unnecessary or unjustifiable pain or suffering”? His testimony shows that he did these things because the kitten “scratched him.” What if it had been a child that was “crying too loud”? Your sentence of “reporting to Mobile’s Community Corrections Center” shows complete disregard for the disgusting severity of this crime.  There is no serious punishment, and Ralph Fisk will be able walk our streets, a free man. According to R Ressler, A. Burgess, and J. Douglas’s book “Sexual homicides: Patterns and motives” 36% of serial killers admit to committing animal cruelty act in adulthood. You should consider this, and the safety of our community before allowing this monster to remain on the streets.
Thank you,

Part 2:

Furthermore, section 13A-11-240 goes on to define exactly what this law means.
(a) The word “torture” as used in this article shall mean the act of doing physical injury to a dog or cat by the infliction of inhumane treatment or gross physical abuse meant to cause said animal intensive or prolonged pain or serious physical injury, or thereby causing death due to said act.
(b) The word “cruel” as used in this article shall mean: Every act, omission, or neglect, including abandonment, where unnecessary or unjustifiable pain or suffering, including abandonment, is caused or where unnecessary pain or suffering is allowed to continue.

I can’t fit the letter that I wrote to him in one message so here it is in parts:

Part 1

Hon. James C. Woods,
I believe that it is an outrage that you have reversed the decision to put animal torturer Ralph Fisk in jail where he belongs.
Statute 13A-11-14 of Article 11 of Chapter 11 defines “Cruelty to Animals” as the following:
(a) A person commits the crime of cruelty to animals if, except as otherwise authorized by law, he intentionally or recklessly:
(1) Subjects any animal to cruel mistreatment; or
(2) Subjects any animal in his custody to cruel neglect; or
(3) Kills or injures without good cause any animal belonging to another.

Yet another case of a sicko in this world.. Kids, pets, what next?  You can blame it on up bringing, surroundings or whatever, but noboday can make another person do anything they dont want to do.  this guy wanted to do this and probably assumed he would never get caught since animals cant spek up for themselves.  What a jerk!

My kids turned out very well, but the road got a little rocky for the youngest.  My point was that I did not give enough of my time during those years, because I thought working around the clock was the thing to do.  I have a different opinion of that now.

i belive animal abuse has always been here, people were unaware of most of it. we did not have the internet. i do not like all peta stands for, but they have helped bring this to the publics attention along with the humane society. the only was to stop any crime is to get serious with these criminals, not some poor man collecting things.  animal abuse is a stepping stone to child abuse and other crimes. i worked very hard to give my son everything, he did not turn out spoiled, he is a missonary. i believe it starts with the heart.

And, now that I am thinking about my childhood, I don’t remember all this animal abuse.  We were all the time bringing home some stray dog, cat, turtle and even an injured squirrel.  There was nothing in me or any of my friends that had a desire to hurt little innocent creatures just for the helluvit.
