A Mobile County jury took more than two hours Wednesday to convict Craig Skipper of murder. Skipper was found guilty in the beating death of 60 year old Charles Tillman, Junior. Investigators say Tillman was kicked and beaten with a piece of wood in Irvington back in June 2008. Authorities arrested Craig Skipper, his 17 year old son Adam, John Conner and Jayce Golemon. The last two reached plea agreements with the prosecution. Adam Skipper is expected to go to trial on assault and murder charges soon. A sentencing date has not been set at this time for Craig Skipper. He faces life in prison without parole. News 5 will have more on the jury's verdict on News 5 at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
