We need tailgate food competitions, a name for our featured twirler, etc. I wish I’d walked over to the Alumni tent. I was stuffed from chili and cornbread.

Lou Sid Palaver

You are right, we have been having a great time.
As to your question, my take on it is:
The first 4 games were primarily running and then
they successfully introduced passing.  I would say
they are balanced right now.

Sounds like everyone has been having a great time at these games. Must be a whole lot of action on the field with the scores I’ve been seeing.

Would you say the Jags are primarily a passing, or rushing team?

Carl,
We ate in the Faculty tent and the Alumni tent.
The food in those was good.  The alumni tent is sponsored by different business’s from Mobile.  Saturday it was Zia’s and the food was excellent.
Like Southfan said, there is a lot of free beer available.

I propose the University start a contest to name the
caped fan.  I have been calling him JAGMAN.  I hope this becomes a tradition.

The VIP tent had great food the first game supplied by Naman’s. The next game it was burgers, chips and hotdogs. Not as exciting but the beer is there for the taking if you are into that. I wish they had more dogs like they serve at STANKY field.

The tailgating has been FANtastic. Big screen TVs, good food including BBQ, sausage, you name it. This is the start of a terrific tradition.

I love the caped fan and the young boy who is also assisting with celebrating each touchdown. WOooo hooooo. This is good entertainment for the whole family. What a way to build a bond with your children?

Come watch the Jags. Go SOUTH.

BTW, the last team we played had at least 5-6 verbal commitments to D1 schools. We are playing guys who are working on academics and maturity. These teams are not slouches. Don’t short change the Jags’ coaching and team.

Hey AlabamaRon did you perhaps get to go into that VIP tent yesterday?Just wondering what kind of eats they had.grin

BamaBob,
You have a good question but you will have to
see these guys play to answer that.  If you
go to the game this Thursday night, you would see
for yourself.  I think you would be impressed.

I’m happy that they are doing so well, but I have seen none of their games so I am curious why the score is always so lopsided.

kind of makes you wonder if it’s a case of a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond, doesn’t it? we’ll have to wait and see how it shakes out.

Are these guys really this good, or the other teams that bad?  They have had some blow out scores this first season, which kind of make me wonder.
