MOBILE, Alabama - The South Alabama Jaguars used 2 defensive touchdowns and the running of Brandon Ross to beat Georgia Military Junior College 31-3 in front of an announced crowd of over 17,000 at Ladd Peebles Stadium.After a scoreless first quarter, the Jaguars took control in the second with a pair of touchdowns. First, a 7 yard run by Brandon Ross, then a 26 yard interception return for a TD by defensive back Zach Brownell. The INT was one of three on the day by Brownell.
Clifton Crews contributed to the scoring with a 10 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the third quarter.
The Jaguars are now 3-and-0 in their first season. They'll go for win number 4 next Saturday (Oct. 17) at 4:00pm at Ladd-Peebles against Louisburg Junior College out of North Carolina.
