Inmate Hangs Himself At Metro Jail

Mobile Suicide The discovery was made this afternoon. Authorities the man tried has tried to escape from jail before.

The Mobile County Sherriff's Office says an inmate at the Mobile Metro Jail has commited suicide.
T.C. Harris was found by a corrections officer around 3:30 this afternoon. He had hung himself.
Harris has been in jail since January 2 of last year serving a sentence for 1st degree robbery.
He was transferred to Mobile after he tried to escape his previous correction facility.

In response to dougatech.—Generally, the only time cameras and such are used (with increased personnel surveillance) is in suicide watch cases. Maybe this person did not exhibit signs of potential suicide to be placed on the suicide watch?
