Why do some still make such a big deal over Obama’s name? Did you choose your name? Obama is not a Muslim. and so what if he was. We have many good Muslims serving our country all over the world.

Islam is the worlds second largest religion. 1.5 billion people. Not everyone who practices this religion is a terrorist.

jello biafra, Where in my comment does it say ANYTHING about having a problem with muslims or even muslims to begin with? I was just asking why he was not introduced with his full name. Stop putting words into my mouth, thank you very much!

ok…glad we got that cleared up! smile

#1 lesson never assume. lol My talk against obama has nothing against his color. And you may or may not understand my problems with him, I will NOT assume either way. I always pray for the leaders of our country, as I pray for her people also.

i know u did not barefootangel…it just seems…well, never mind, that’s what I get for assuming…..

i understand your problems with obama; but i just think its time to get over it and pray for him….and move forward with a possible new beginning….

What’s with the ‘bfa’? I don’t care if we have a black president. I don’t believe anyone has EVER hear me say anything against a black president. I have a problem with obama.

And by the way ‘barefootangel’ it is a historic day in America….whether u like it or not, HE is OUR first BLACK president….that makes it historic!

barefootangel…that statement was a general one.

the black and white thing has to do with people not wanting a black president in office…thats all.

Yes, that I agree. And I know why the historic everyone is saying but when they turn around and say it has nothing to do with white or black that I don’t get.

I can understand the historical significance of this presidency, but we are in some very tough times.  Someone with a serious track record at the helm would be a lot more comforting.

I don’t question his family nor our country. But like you say, he’s never done anything. There’s nothing historic here.
