HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - The Huntsville area is trying to get
back to normal after a scare with swine flu.
Most public schools in the county reopen on Monday, although
elementary schools in the city of Madison will remain closed until
May 14. That's because the state's first confirmed case of the flu
was found in a kindergartner at Heritage Elementary School.
Youth activities including the child development center also are
reopening at Redstone Arsenal.
Of the 11 cases of swine flu considered as probable or confirmed
in Alabama, nine are in Madison County.
