MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Alabama House has passed a bill that
would allow stronger beer to be sold in Alabama.
The House voted 49-37 Tuesday to approve the bill that will
allow some imported and gourmet beers with a higher alcohol content
to be sold in Alabama.
Alabama law currently requires that beer sold in Alabama have an

Amen Kx. Maybe if they put this (real) beer in stores, I won’t have to go to a brewery where I can only drink a limited amount. I prefer to drink (real) beer at home, off the road.

I can’t wait to have St Sebastian’s in my local stores. Driving to Florida for it sucks! Now I can support my LOCAL ECONOMY when I drink!

PS. Cameo, it is just IGNORANT to think that having gourmet beers is going to INCREASE drunk driving on the road. Most people with enough money to buy gourmet beers also have enough money (and sense!) to call a cab! Besides, has your tiny little brain ever stopped to think that 13.9% is a good wine, or a WEAK (27.8 PROOF) liquor?

Doug, Rep. Jackson is a Democrat. So before you spout off about the right side, look closer at your left side. Another example of the liberals trying to blame everything they can on Conservatives, without even knowing the facts.

it is already being made in small mico and home brews, tax it regulate it. you are not going to stop it.  i have never seen more drunks and crime, than in a dry county. go figure. keep turnin left jimmy.

Just think of it as an additional tax source.  Perhaps I’ll even try some one day.

NOTE:  I only drink at home.

republicans hard at work, I see. good to see they have found a way to occupy their time.

Oh yeah we don’t have enough drunk drivers on the roads.
