Savanna Edmonds bounces dress picks off her husband. Today he's the designated dress holder.

“He's just a good husband that’s' what he does, he come with me,” says Edmonds. The House of Bride's parking lot hasn't seen this much traffic in months. That's because everything must go according to the sign out front.

“We've had a lot of decent customers come in and they're buying having no problems with it they like the merchandise and the friendly service we have,” says liquidation employee Rashad Clanton. He’s one of six people hired by the owner’s attorney to sell everything in the store. House of Brides closed up shop suddenly in November. Owners blamed the economy and some customers blamed them for hurting wedding plans. For shoppers like Kristy Kesterson their timing is perfect

“Mardi Gras dresses can be pretty pricey and this is a very good sale and it's the right time of year for it,” says Kesterson. Workers say they’ll be opened Saturdays and Sundays until they’ve sold everything in the store. They’ll be open from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 1 pm to 5 pm Sunday. The store is only accepting cash, no credit or debit cards. All sales are final.

actually i rolled under clinton. i made money hand over fist. i dont need to tell you where i would be today had i remained in the market. it was pre planned for me to get out in 01, but it sure worked to my favor.

Well, went to their sale and found a great dress to wear to my son wedding. Just told them to take it out of my son’s refund,(joke). Did get a good deal.

Look up Community Reinvestment Act, that was Clintons baby that really set this whole mess in motion.

Wasn’t there a President between Bush1 and 2 who is really responsible for this? And btw 6 years of W’s watch our economy was booming. Well until the democrats took control of the House and Senate. Therefore your reasoning is merely garbage.

maybe the sale will get them the cash they need to do just that. , its happeneing all over the country to all kinds of businesses. the boys ran a good business for many years. they probably feel as bad as anyone else thier business failed. remember the sign on Bush I’s office, “its the economy”. funny it was on his sons watch t occured.

Well, it would have been nice if they paid their customers back before they did this!!!!!!!!
