According to Mobile police, shortly after midnight Tuesday, Joshua McQueen went to the Inn Town Suites Apartments, an extended stay hotel near Government and I-10 in Tillmans Corner. He knocked on the door of a hotel room. When the guests answered, McQueen forced his way into the room, armed with a gun and demanded money from all three guests.
The victims refused and managed to subdue McQueen, called 911 and held him there until police arrived.
McQueen was transported to Mobile Infirmary West to be treated for cuts and bruises he suffered during the failed robbery attempt. He was then transferred to Metro Jail and booked on robbery charges.
