Man Found Dead In Loxley

Baldwin County Loxley  Police say William Grunden of Pensacola died from head trauma. An autopsy is being performed today.

Friday 11:56 a.m.
- The body was found on Truck Trail 17, eight miles east of Hwy 59 near the Gateswood Community.

Friday 10:44 a.m.
- Police say the victim is 57-year-old William Grunden of Pensacola.
- Head trauma has been ruled the preliminary cause of death.
- An autopsy is being performed today.


Thursday 11:16 p.m.
Loxley Police are working an apparent homicide in a rural area just north of Interstate 10.

A white male was found dead on Truck Trail 17, which is a dirt road just off Highway 59. The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office is helping in the case.

This was not in the Steelwood community. It is supposed to say “Steelwood Country Club/golf course”. Steelwood community is a small neighborhood about 5 minutes away. Two totally different places.
