Despite being homeless, Robert McDaniel has been a very busy man. Mobile Police arrested the 30-year-old yesterday for the February 22nd robbery of RBC Centura Bank on Cottage Hill Road. In that hold-up, McDaniel handed a teller a note that said he was armed and wanted money. Only four days earlier, Police say McDaniel pointed a semi-automatic weapon at the cashier of the Chevron on Three Notch Road and took money from the cash register. In both cases he was able to make a getaway. Police have also connected to robberies at five other Mobile and Baldwin County locations:
-Vision Bank on Highway 98 in Daphne
-Family Dollar in Prichard
-Family Dollar in Spanish Fort
-New Horizons Credit Union in Daphne
-Check Cashed in Gulf Shores
