You are right. They need to shoot the car thief when they run. They can’t do it again or over crowd the jails if they are dead. And yes, the MPD will have to shoot better because they will be shooting at fast moving targets. Takes a little skill, you have to lead them. It’s like shooting clay pigeons. Good hunting and be safe. No having a beer until the day is done. Would that be miller time or obama time?? The “high life” is getting so complicated

All i have to say is someone is going to get hurt with all these car chases (THEY ARE OUT OF HAND)Big deal he stole a car is that worth someones life? It happens everyday and the reason it happens is because these thugs are back out on the street in a matter of hours and never serve any time (i know prisons are overcrowded). The offcier in Dr. gates case was asking for identification, not knowing who Dr Gates was, or if there were other people in the house.

Dr. Gates took it to another level when he refused the offocers request.

BTW, if you notice the picture of Dr. Gates being led away, ALL of the officers were black.

That case was not about race. the officer did what he was trained to do.

Kathy- Dr. Gates crime was ‘disorderly conduct’.  It has nothing to do race.  The police did what they should have done, regardless of his color.  Sounds like you’re on a bandwagon yourself.

Oh Boy lets just jump on the bandwagon and lump all black people into one category.  Dr. Gates was invited along with Sgt Crowley to the white house to talk after Dr. Gates was arrested for supposedly breaking into his own house.  He wasn’t driving a stolen vehicle or DUI (Driving under the influence).  His crime was “Opening the Front door of his house WHILE BLACK.”  The bitterness and hatred is so sad.  I really hope this fool gets the book thrown at him because what he did was wrong and dangerous - whether he was black or white.  Lets all pull out our hankies in the meantime for the young white thug who shot and killed a cop with a STOLEN gun and is so sorry now.  If it had been a young black man with a stolen gun who had gunned down an off duty white officer, some of you would have already lynched him!

I watched part of the chase on 5tv this morning. My sister wanted to know where he got the suv.  She is a bit naive.  she thinks he worked and bought it.  Stolen i said.  She said why dosent he go to work and buy one.  I said i dont know why.  If he was white and did these things he would be in jail forever.  Since he is black, he will be back on the streets in no time.  ready to rob, steal, rape and even other more vocious crimes.  The catch 22 is he is black.  He can even do wrong and get to have a beer with the president.  Double standard?  you decide.

Everyone that was run off the road needs to go down and file assault with a deadly weapon charges. He might do some time. A month or two. To bad he didn’t run over and animal. They would give him 20yrs and do at less 10 before he would see the parole board. But he is black so they will just have a beer and talk about it.
