Spanish Fort American Heart Association Hundreds showed up for the annual Alabama Gulf Coast Start Heartwalk.

SPANISH FORT, Alabama - Hundreds of people were walking for a good cause this weekend in Spanish Fort. More than 1,500 people headed to the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center for the 2009 Alabama Gulf Coast Start Heart Walk today 9/20/09. Organizers say they were able to raise more than $100,000 for heart research. Volunteers walked more than three miles around the Mobile Bay delta.
