Alabama Robbery Nearly a dozen masked gunmen ambush a Citronelle trailer park.

Nearly a dozen men ambushed a Citronelle trailer park carrying several weapons including a sawed off shotgun.

Police believe the gunmen were trying to intimidate a resident in the trailer park, who was also a robbery victim the night before.

Michael Smith, 40, was stabbed in the leg Friday night after two men stole his wallet in the parking lot of Betty Joe's Bar. Brandon and Carl Newburn are charged with the robbery and assault.

Saturday night, police say Brandon Newburn and seven other men threatened Smith at his home. Smith says one of the men put a gun in his face and told him he was dead.

"I just threw up my hands and started backing up," says Smith. "Then another one came out with a sawed off shotgun."

Brandon Newburn, Patrick Davis and Laborris Brooks are charged with inciting to riot for the ambush. The suspects also face gun charges. Six other men got away.

micheal smith acts like he is so innocent that he is a model citizen but what comes around goes around he cut a mans throat while the man was a sleep on his sisters coach if you do something bad to someone it will come back on you

I have family out there, I agree NOT ALL are like that. The ones who are however, show little fear. If any of you ever been in the so-called Citronelle Jail, you’d see why there’s not much fear in the thugs there. They hang around outside, smoking cigarettes, weed, and talking like they on lunch break. They make phone calls just about any time they want. Granted, if you do a bad enough crime, you’ll go to Metro Jail, that’s if the Citronelle Sheriffs feel like driving you.

not everyone who lives in citronelle is like that but, alot of them are. you just don’t cross them. & i know this for a fact bcuz i live in citronelle also!

that man done ticked the wrong person off. he needs to pack his stuff up & leave. people in citronelle, mount vernon, & mcintosh area dont play ya tick them off & you can hang it up!
