Gunman Opens Fire Inside Store

Prichard Eight Mile  Gunfire hits customer at liquor store in Prichard.

A would be robber opens fire into a liquor store in Prichard tonight.
Police say a man wearing a ski mask tried to rob the ABC store on Saint Stephens Road in Eight Mile.
Police say the man kept trying to open the exit door. He couldn't get it open, and that's when the gunman got angry and started shooting inside the store. Police say he used two rounds of ammunition.
A man inside the store was shot in the leg.
The shooter ran off. The wounded customer was taken to the hospital, but will be okay.
