MOBILE, Alabama - The 55th annual Greater Gulf State Fair kicked off Friday afternoon. The fair is open daily through November 3.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for kids ages 2-10.

Swine Flu is now a National Emergency! See This Article http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2009/10/obama_declares_swine_flu_a_nat.html . The state and national health departments have said that the ideal places to catch this flu is at large gatherings where a lot of people come into contact with each other. I wonder if the health department officials are screening the people who go to the fair to see if they are sick?
