Karen Tillman was part of a large family. She was one of six brothers and sisters. Sadly, she becomes the third one of them to die unexpectedly. Karen’s sister Cynthia Copeland Goff says one sister died at a young age from illness and one brother died in an industrial accident. Here are some of her remarks as Cynthia reflected on her sister’s life and legacy.“This has been a great tragedy for our family this has been the third child to be killed and Karen is a wonderful person, she always went out of her way to help her friends and family. She was a wonderful mother, she took care of her children well she made sure they had everything that they needed the only thing they need now is their mother and that's not going to happen. Nothing will ever be the same. She brought a lot of peace and happiness to our family and she will be missed. Everybody's pretty distraught I mean, it's hard to bury one child much less the third one, it's really very difficult.”
