The USA Jaguars Cheerleaders are working hard to make sure they are ready to lead the crowd at this weekend's first football team. The squad is feeling the pressure, because they've never cheered at a college football game. Sophomore Kristan Ladner is excited! "We have practice Monday through Thursday. Last year we practiced two days per week. We have a lot of pressure on us, for real."
Senior Edward hunter has cheered on the Jags before, but he took a break during his Junior year to focus on his studies. He couldn't help but return to the squad his Senior year. "I had to come back. I would be so jealous sitting in the stands watching all my people. I had to come back."
You can watch the cheerleaders this weekend, as the Jags take on Hargrave Academy at 4PM at Ladd Peebles Stadium. There is a pep rally tonight on campus at 7:30PM.
