Car enthusiasts were revving their engines for a good cause. The Gear Jammers Club of Baldwin County held a classic car show fundraiser today. Hundreds of vintage restored cars rolled into Battleship Park Saturday, June 6th, 2009. Proceeds from the event will help build an Operation Iraqi Freedom memorial.

“Just as much as we can is the only thing we're doing we put the show on just for the memorial and we're hoping for as much money as we can get,” says Gear Jammer Homer McNeil. Organizers say they want an Iraq memorial because there's nothing for those vets in Battleship Park yet.
