It was a day of pride in downtown Mobile. Members of Mobile Alabama Pride held a gay pride parade Saturday afternoon. 22 floats rolled downtown around Bienville Square Saturday. Organizers say they normally have more than three thousand people watch the event. They say it's an important day for the gay community in Mobile.

“It's a gathering day, a fun day for our community to get together to show our pride of who we are and let everyone know we're here,” says Mobile Alabama Pride Vice President Bob Brunson. The parade was part of a day long event of food, drinks and live music. They also had special activities in Bienville Square.

Britney’s actually from Kentwood, Louisiana. aahhaha.

hey keep that trash in cali or far away from us. that is just nasty.!!!

What was William Carroll doing riding around in that parade?  He going after the gay vote in his district, or making a social comment?

My point exactly.

I sure wish I could Bobcat. The moral decay is ruining America. It’s not just homosexuality but a lot of what Hollywood is putting out is trashy.

Understandable.  But then again, why don’t you ask Britney and Paris to stop parading their goodies and start wearing panties.

Sorry Bobcat. Meant to say I didn’t mean it in a bad way. My keyboard is a bit dusty from the sandstorms here and the letters sometimes stick or don’t work at all. My fault for not proof reading better.

Actually Bobcat I mean that in a bad way. Just poking a little fun at you. I don’t know if you are on your own time or not and the same works both ways. True you have no way of knowing if I am where I say I am or even what my work is or work schedule may or may not be. Truth be known even though we differ on opinions I enjoy reading yours. It gets me to thinking about how strong I feel about my beliefs. And keeping with the story here I am simply stating again that I think it’s a waste of tax money to support a gay pride parade. Being gay is a sexual preference and should be kept private.

Did someone pull your string Oh Great1.
Please Nancy, At least I’m here on my own time and not at the tax payers expense.
Why don’t you go do what you were sent there to do besides complaining about someone else on a forum that you live on 24/7. That is if you’re even there. You sure say it a lot like you’re trying to convince someone who hasn’t heard it before. Like yourself.
Since you chose to provoke this, bring it on.

Bet you have more to say Bobcat. Just give it some time…
