BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Gasoline prices continue their downwardspiral, according to AAA Alabama's daily fuel gauge report.
The average statewide price for regular dipped another two cents
overnight to $2.28 a gallon Thursday.
By comparison, the national average for regular is $2.31.
The statewide average for midgrade and premium also tumbled
another two cents to $2.39 and $2.45, respectively.
AAA said the average 20 gallon fill-up is more than $27.00
cheaper than it cost a month ago.
Birmingham motorists paid the highest average metro price for
regular at $2.35. The cheapest city average was found in Montgomery
at $2.21 a gallon.
