South Alabama pastor Anthony Hopkins has his next court date in Mobile on Tuesday.
But he may have other legal worries in another Alabama city.
Hopkins is accused of killing his wife and stuffing her body in a freezer here in Mobile.
He's charged with murdering his wife, but he's also charged with raping and sodomizing one of his eight children.
The police chief of Jackson, Alabama said the abuse may not have only happened in Mobile, and it may not have only happened to one child.
Chief Charles Burge told News Five he is waiting for a report from Mobile Police to determine whether Jackson Police can also charge Hopkins.
Burge said as soon has he receives Mobile's report, his officers will begin their own investigation.
Hopkins was supposed to be in court Friday, but some warrants in the case weren't signed in time.
However, prosecutors and Hopkins' attorney did talk about the case.
Ashley Rich with the Mobile County District Attorney's Office said, "We're in the beginning stages of this case and we expect that there will be a lot more evidence to come. In my tenure as an assistant district attorney, this is perhaps one of the most unusual cases that we've been involved in."
Defense Attorney Jeff Deen said, "It's unusual to find somebody in the freezer, I agree. That's a fact that's going to have to be explained some way."
Deen, however, said he doesn't think people will be shocked when they hear Hopkins side of the story.
Rich said no more charges against Hopkins are expected out of Mobile County, but the investigation is on-going.
Hopkins is now scheduled to face the judge on all of the charges next Tuesday.
News Five also talked by phone Friday night with James Best of Wadley, Georgia.
Members of his family have been in Mobile to pick the Hopkins' children and bring them to Wadley.
Best said family members have talked with the children and that they're doing fine, but haven't picked them up as of yet.
Best said he doesn't know when his family and the children are scheduled back in Wadley.

It was reported that two of Hopkins 8 children
are not his very own; two in which may have been actually molested the most. It was stated in a report that Hopkins’s is being charged with raping and sodimizing the older daughter, who is 19 years of age now, and who has been abused by Hopkin’s for 8 years. If 2 of the children is not his, then it probably is the 2 oldest children of the brunch who aren’t, with the 19 year old being the greater victim. It is probably the reason why he was molesting her; and probably the other one as well; because they are not really his and he felt that he could and would get away with it. As for the children, who are his blood children, they need to be questioned as well as the older two, for the fact that their father is a child molester and could have caused them as well to be a prey.
